At what time are check-in and check-out?

Check-in is guaranteed from 2:00 pm, while check-out is until 12:00 (noon). The free luggage storage service is available upon arrival and departure. Please contact Reception staff to make use of the service.

Which credit cards do you accept?

Visa, Mastercard, Cartasì, Diners, Amex, Bancomat.

What are your cancellation policies?

All reservations, apart from the Standard Rooms, which are non-refundable, can be cancelled or modified without penalty fees up until 6:00 pm (Italian time) of the day before arrival. These are our general terms, but we kindly invite you to read the cancellation policy of the specific room you are booking to check if our terms have been updated or altered for any of our offers. 

Do you have car parking?

The Hotel is located in Florence city centre’s restricted traffic area (ZTL) and does not have a garage. If you are travelling by car, our staff will be glad to assist you by suggesting one of the private garages nearby.
Prices range from €35.00 to €45.00 per night, depending on the vehicle's size. It includes a parking spot, a valet service upon check-in and check-out, and the car plate's registration (mandatory to avoid fines or penalty charges for trespassing the restricted traffic area).

To avoid fines and penalty charges, please be informed that:

  • Communicate the licence plate number within 3 hours from the moment you access the ZTL.
  • It is strictly forbidden to circulate in pedestrian areas and/or in preferential lanes (reserved for taxis, buses and emergency vehicles).
  • Any further access to the ZTL during your stay or upon departure are subject to fines and/or penalty charges.
    The garage nor the hotel can be held responsible and cannot intervene in any way.

Please contact our reception in advance to  find out garage opening hours and rates, or any detail concerning car access or ZTL permits.
Our Reception is at your disposal 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Do you offer an Internet connection?

We offer complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi connection throughout the Hotel.

Are all hotel rooms accessible for guests with reduced mobility?

Hotel Spadai is located in a historical building. Some of our rooms are only accessible via a short flight of stairs. Guests with reduced mobility are invited to inform us of their needs when booking.

Do you have a gluten-free menu?

Our buffet breakfast features a corner with prepacked gluten-free products. Please note that we cannot guarantee the absence of cross-contamination on non-prepacked food.  Kindly note that we do not offer any gluten-free product at our bar or the Room Service menu. We recommend communicating any allergies/intolerances/dietary requirements in advance to our staff.

The Hotel voltage is 220V, in compliance with European standards.

Terms and conditions

  • Late check-out (after 12:00 noon) must be requested at our Reception. It is subject to availability, and an additional fee will be applied.
  • Smoking is strictly forbidden in the entire Hotel - according to the article n°51 as per law n°3 of the 16/01/2003 and to the DPCM of the 23/12/2003.
  • Pets are not allowed within the premises. 
  • In case of non-refundable reservations, please specify if you need an invoice during the booking process itself, giving us all the necessary details. If an invoice is not specifically required, a standard receipt will be automatically issued.
  • Access to the floors is allowed only after registration at the Reception. The Hotel reserves the right to reject the stay in the absence of a valid identity document/passport upon arrival. Please note that it is mandatory to show a valid passport for all age groups (adults, children, infants) in accordance with Italian law. For citizens of the European Union, identity card and passport are accepted; for citizens from countries outside the European Union, only the passport. Furthermore, Italian law provides that children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by their parents. If accompanied by only one parent, it is necessary to show a signed copy of a valid identity document/passport of the absent parent together with a signed declaration of consent. In the event that the minor travels with people other than their parents/legal guardians, it is necessary to show a copy of a valid identity document/passport of both absent parents together with a declaration of consent, signed by both parents/guardians legal.
  • Our Staff restocks minibar products once a day for free. For additional requests, extra fees will be charged according to the price list on the menu.
  • The Hotel is not liable for food introduced from outside directly by guests or indirectly through third parties.
  • The tourist tax is not included in the room rate, so it will have to be added and paid on site.
  • For bookings of 6 or more rooms, different cancellation and payment terms apply. Please contact our Staff directly to find out the detailed policy dedicated to groups. Also, please note that different terms and conditions also apply to services available to groups during their stay.
  • The Hotel reserves the right to verify the credit card's validity provided to guarantee the reservation by requesting a pre-authorization equal to the amount of the first night. It is necessary to make sure that you have correctly entered the name and surname of the holder, the number, and the credit card expiry date indicated at the time of booking. In case of invalid data or denied pre-authorization, the reservation will be automatically cancelled without prior notice. Please also check that the credit card expiration date is after the departure date.
  • For safety reasons, the maximum capacity provided for each type of room cannot be exceeded, as per legislation. Infants (0-2 years old) stay free in a cot (one cot per room is allowed). The Hotel reserves the right to reject the stay if the number of guests exceeds the maximum occupancy provided for the room booked. In the event that, at the time of check-in, the number of guests is greater than the number of occupants declared at the time of booking, a supplement may be applied to the daily rate, subject to the availability of a type of room with adequate capacity for the number of guests (maximum four people and a baby in a cot).
